Ha Ha Tonka - Close Every Valve To Your Bleeding Heart
Ha Ha Tonka self proclaimed foot stompin indie rockers hail from springfield, Missouri.
With clear influences from folk, country and a splash of indie make sure you check out last years album Novel Sounds from the Noveau South which is a little rockier than the debut album Buckle in the Bible Belt.
Check out the website for more infomation HERE

Fleet Foxes - White Winter Hymnal
A good band and hauntingly good song from the Fleet Foxes recommended ages ago to me by Mr Cheeseman! I think this band are on the brink of making it big time but we won't hold that against them.
Good Video too!

The Cedars
A UK based Alt-Americana quartet, with soaring vocals, infectious rhythms and blasts of slide guitar and banjo. Plying tales of lost love, revenge and rural homicide, The Cedars manage to straddle the divide between the dancehalls of the 20's and 30's and what's going on in the scene right now.
Seen these guys live around london a few times and they never fail to impress. After pretty sure they would be signed up soon and looks like I was right.
Little Copper Still is their debut album now available on itunes - here is their debut single The Colour
Full album listing and samples HERE

Doves - The man who sold everything
I am a massive Doves fan, they are just one of those bands I can listen to over and over again. So this isn't really a new song I stumbled upon but I thought I would share it with my all of 2 users lol.
This song is The man who sold everything and I love the haunting melodic style and fabulous vocal.
If you haven't heard the Doves before and you like this I suggest you buy all their albums, sit back and listen through beginning to end.

Seasick Steve
I heard about Seasick Steve whilst reading about this years brit awards nominated for best international male: The California-born, Norway-based bluesman plays a guitar made out of a cigar box and another made of a plank of wood with a single string down the middle. (sometimes 3 strings)
